Glass Fusion

Amanda started working with glass over a decade ago, after taking a "hot glass" class, making glass beads at Studio 34, in Rochester NY. She decided the open flame was a little too dangerous, and starting looking into other glass techniques.  She took a workshop on glass fusion and then was hooked!

She convinced her family to let her build a studio in her basement and has been creating projects with "warm glass" over the last few years.  She has taken more lessons at Studio 34 and also has traveled to learn at the Oatka School of Glass (before it moved south) and at AAE Glass (in Florida).
